The EGO Blast series represents a breakthrough in the field of fire suppression, offering a reliable, environmentally friendly and maintenance-free solution for a wide range of applications.
EGO Blast can protect spaces from 0,6 m3 to 500 m3 in one chain. The Potassium mix inside the EGO Blast series is unique. It does not cause any residues, it extinguishes the fire with aerosol (white smoke) and as long as the aerosol floats in the space the fire will not re-ignite.

The EGO Blast system is extremely adaptable to any space. Once it activates it will not harm anything within the space and as long as the potassium based aerosol is inside the space there will be no ignition due to its smart secondary ignition protection.
Studies show that 10 minutes exposure has no more impact on your health than one year of exposure in a workplace with maximum permitted concentrations. Compared to other fire suppression systems in the market, this is the safest and most non-toxic solution. It does not damage hardware or electrical components.

EGO Blast 100 & 150
EGO Blast 150 is the largest unit in the series that can by itself protect spaces up to 15 m³.
The unit has a built in activation control with self-check button and several connections to connect it to other units from the EGO Blast Series ,to the EGO Kegel or directly to a linear heat detection cable.
The EGO Blast 100 has the same size, but has only 6 cartridges instead of 9 (EGO Blast 150), and can protect spaces up to 10 m³ by itself.
EGO Blast 6 & 15
EGO Blast 6 is the smallest unit in the EGO Blast Series. It can by itself protect spaces up to 0,6 m3.
EGO Blast 15 is the big brother of EGO Blast 6 and together they can protect areas where space is an issue. It can by itself protect spaces up to 1,5 m3. Connect it to EGO Kegel or EGO Kontrol.

Technology
Inside the MAUS products there is a solid substance of a potassium compound. Potassium radicals are very active and they interrupt the chemical combustion of very small particles of gas, the result is a more effective extinguishing agent than conventional powder. Another important feature of aerosols is that the dropping of velocity of the particles decreases as the surface becomes larger in relation to the mass, which makes the air resistance relatively large in relation to the gravitational force. This results in particles staying suspended for a longer period of time, contributing to a longer inerting period creating a re-ignition protection. Together, these factors make PGA (pyrotechnical generated aerosols) a very effective extinguishing agent. The extinguishing effect per unit of weight is in the range of 3-10 times.
