The MAUS Stixx PRO is an automatic fire protection device that extinguishes fires before they even start to cause damage, particularly in electrical cabinets.
 
This award-winning innovation installs in any small space where a fire can occur. It is triggered automatically at 170°C (+10°C) and fills the space with potassium-based smoke which absorbs the heat of the fire and breaks down the chemical composition of the fire, thereby extinguishing it.
 
Thanks to the detection cables added on the sides, activation is done more quickly than the Stixx Pro.
 
As with other Stixx, V1 is primarily made of a form of potassium compound.

Potassium radicals are very active and interrupt chemical combustion reactions by neutralizing hydrogen, oxygen and hydroxide radicals in the flame. Since aerosols consist of very small particles in a gas, the result is a more effective extinguishing agent than conventional powders.
 
The particles remain in suspension longer and contribute to a longer inertia time. This results in better protection against re-ignition. The extinguishing effect per unit of weight is around 3 to 10 times more effective than that of halon and CO2.
