MAUS XTIN Grand

TheMAUS Xtin Grand is a high-performance fire extinguisher designed to ensure maximum safety in critical situations. It offers extinguishing power three times greater than that of the more compact model MAUS Xtin Klein.

It is particularly suitable for utility vehicles, trucks, agricultural machinery, industrial premises, offices and shops.

The technology behind MAUS XTIN Klein

MAUS products contain a solid potassium-based substance. Potassium radicals are very active and interrupt the chemical combustion of very small gas particles, making it a more effective extinguishing agent than conventional powder.

Another important feature of aerosols is that the fall speed of the particles decreases as the surface area becomes larger relative to the mass, which makes air resistance relatively large compared to gravitational force. This allows the particles to remain suspended longer, contributing to a longer inerting period, thus creating protection against re-ignition. Together, these factors make PGA (pyrotechnically generated aerosols) a very effective extinguishing agent. The extinguishing effect per unit weight is about 3 to 10 times greater than that of halon.
