The MAUS EGO Blast 150 is a potassium-based aerosol extinguishing device, designed to protect enclosed spaces up to 15 m³, depending on installation conditions. It integrates into server rooms, electrical rooms, and machine compartments to combat a fire, even in the absence of personnel.

Compact and autonomous, it combines an extinguishing unit with various triggering options. Its configuration adapts to your environment: smoke detection, heat detection, thermal cable, or compatible manual control.

An automatic reaction in case of detection

When connected to a compatible detection device, the EGO Blast 150 automatically activates upon receiving the activation signal. It then disperses its extinguishing aerosol into the protected volume, with a discharge time of 14 seconds.

Fine potassium-based particles act on combustion chemical reactions to combat flames. As long as the agent remains present at a sufficient concentration in the protected space, it also contributes to limiting the risk of re-ignition.

The agent spreads in the enclosed space to reach the flames. The confinement of the volume, the openings and the ventilation are therefore essential elements to consider when choosing and installing the system.
